This project involves the implementation of flush mount microphones. The integrator's preference is for the microphone wiring not to be exposed externally.
Considering this requirement, we have opted to modify the desktop
microphones to be flush mount, ensuring a clean and concealed installation.
This decision aligns with the integrator’s spec and enhances the overall aesthetics of the setup. By transitioning to flush mount microphones, we can seamlessly integrate them into the designated spaces without compromising the visual appeal.Additionally,this modification facilitates a more streamlined installation process, reducing the need for extensive wiring adjustments. The Taiwan Futures Exchange project initially required imported products, with the main competitors being Bosch and Televic. In this selection process, XAPP Ltd. acted as the main promoter, which enabled us to successfully secure this
project collaboration opportunity.In theearly stages of the project, the promoted product was a tabletop microphone,but the Futures Exchange unit wished to use an embedded design similar to the conference room on the 14th floor. This conference room was set up around ten years ago, but the distributor was unwilling to handle maintenance, back then, our role was only to supply the products so they reached out to us instead.
The school wanted the microphone to retain the same performance and quantity as the previous DIS tabletop microphones. After the demonstration, they were very satisfied with the D-Cerno tabletop microphone, and its sound quality is even better than that of the previous microphones.
The client initially mentioned that the goosenecks of the microphones were too long, which affected speaking comfort. However, we later adjusted the microphones to be more closed to the edge, resolving the issue. Additionally, the wiring of the microphone was initially exposed, but we have since improved it by neatly concealing the cables through the designated openings. Other than that, there were no major issues, and the client is very satisfied with the outcome.

At first, the System Integrator (SI) provided a few brands for the school to consider, but the school was not satisfied. In fact, a few years ago, the school had purchased Shure DIS equipment from us, which led them to contact us again and suggest that SI use our brand. Previously, they had casually purchased JTS flat-panel microphones for school to use, but since the president’s meetings required amplification, the audio equipment could not meet the needs of large conferences. This ultimately led to the development of this project.
During the inspection, they considered that the microphone gooseneck was too short. However, due to the high sensitivity of our audio system, after communication, it was decided to maintain the 50 cm gooseneck length. There were no major issues with the rest of the setup, and in the end, they were very satisfied with the performance!
